About the Ranch Located on 1200
acres, approximately 20 miles south of Rocksprings,
Texas or 45 miles north of Brackettville in Edwards County. The
terrain is rolling brush country to deep canyons. The ranch is game
fenced and is under game management. Come experience beautiful days,
dazzling sunsets, and the star-covered night sky!
BASIC Package Hunt at JNRANCH Our basic hunt is our three day package. This package costs $550.00 and includes lodging, meals, guide fees, skinning, caping and quartering of game. It does not include trophy fees. Booking Policy To book your hunt we require a deposit of $275.00. Phone reservations are taken, but your deposit must be received within 7 days to confirm your booking. All hunts are booked on a first pay basis. The balance is due upon arrival and trophy fees are due upon departure. No deposits will be refunded but hunts can be transferred to another open date. Major credit cards accepted. Transportation For those hunters flying in, the closest major airport is in San Antonio, TX. Transportation will be provided to and from the airport for $100.00. For hunters driving in, a map will be provided if needed. Hunt Itinerary We offer you three full days of hunting in the Basic Hunt Package Your morning and afternoon hunts are from all-weather tower and ground blinds. These blinds are located over feeders or food plots. Transportation to and from the blinds is provided by the ranch. Midmorning and early afternoons are spent hunting safari style. Here, children, the elderly, and even the handicapped can bag the big game. If you have the will, we’ll find a way! During your hunt, your guide will help you find the perfect trophy to suit your wishes. The method of hunting is strictly up to you, but our guides may make suggestions based on their years of experience. We accommodate all kinds of hunting from rifle to muzzleloader to bow and arrow. Likewise, you decide whether you want to stalk the animal on foot, hunt from a stand, or pursue your game safari-style from one of our trucks. Our expert guides will also field dress your game once you make your kill. And don’t forget your camera for that proud picture with the trophy of a lifetime! In the interest of promoting responsible and humane hunting, our ranch has instituted a "you bleed it, you buy it" policy. If you injure an animal, you pay for it, regardless of whether is it recovered in the field or not. There is a license required to hunt any Exotic Animal on our ranch. All you need to bring is your weapon, seasonal hunting clothes, your camera, and your sense of adventure! All hunters are required to have a License as per the Law. An Exotic Animal License can be purchased in RockSprings for $35.00. Processing & Taxidermy At the Ranch we provide complimentary field dressing, caping, quartering, and cold storage for your trophies. If needed we will deliver your meat to a local processor who will process to your order and ship directly to you. We can also recommend a very reputable and talented taxidermist with many years experience with exotics. Upon completion your mount will be direct shipped to your door.
